OPERADORA Y CONSOLIDADORA INTERNACIONAL DE CARGAS ECUACARGAS S.A. is a company dedicated to offering the service of temporary storage of goods under the control of the National Customs Service of Ecuador SENAE. Aware of the need to provide its employees and business associates with a safe environment where the good reputation, trust, and transparency in the services offered by ECUACARGAS are preserved, the company has decided, out of conviction and its own initiative, to implement and develop a Security and Control Management System SGCS BASC. The purpose of this system is to prevent illicit activities, corruption, money laundering, and financing of terrorism in the supply chain processes, to ensure and preserve the integrity of employees, clients, and suppliers, as well as all the documents and goods entrusted to our operations within the premises of the Temporary Warehouse. Therefore, we understand our obligation and responsibility to report to the relevant authorities any crime that is intended or materialized within the premises of the Temporary Warehouse or its surroundings that affects the normal course of the international trade logistics chain.
OPERADORA Y CONSOLIDADORA INTERNACIONAL DE CARGAS ECUACARGAS S.A. is committed to:
a) Provide a framework for establishing the objectives of the SGCS BASC.
b) Continuously improve the SGCS BASC management system, with the responsibility of all its members.
c) Maintain the integrity of its processes regarding the prevention of crimes such as corruption and bribery, money laundering, among others.
d) Promote security in the use of information technologies.
e) Comply with the legal and regulatory security requirements to maintain the integrity of the supply chain. Achieving this requires the participation, consultation, and collaboration of all, and therefore, this policy is disseminated to all ECUACARGAS personnel for their knowledge and understanding.
